Dr. Nelson received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Bucknell University and a medical degree from UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she also served as chief resident and received the Mercy Urgino, MD Compassionate Doctor and Caring. She has been at Pediatrics of South Brunswick since 2011 and has been named one of New Jersey Favorite Kids’ Docs. She lives locally with her husband, 2 daughters, and 2 cats. She enjoys traveling, tennis, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and Nintendo games.
